About the Team

As a Data Engineer in the MarTech team, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering high-quality features independently. You will be part of a growing team focused on enhancing our innovative MarTech offerings through advanced marketing suites.

The Role

You will design and develop efficient, reusable, and reliable code. Taking ownership of your projects, you will build client relationships and independently plan, design, code, debug, and test significant features, ensuring early identification of bugs and fulfillment of requirements. You will also identify technical improvement areas and advocate for enhancements.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development, particularly in backend and data engineering.
• Proficient in Python programming with production experience in advanced concepts such as Design Patterns, OOP, and FP.
• Proven experience in building cloud-native data-intensive applications on AWS (preferred).
• Familiarity with Databricks (Lakehouse, ML/MosaicAI, Unity Catalog, MLflow, etc.).
• Experience in Data Warehouse design and development.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience in building and maintaining Spark applications.
• Proficient in architecting and implementing workflow management systems, especially Airflow.
• Strong skills in implementing serverless services (e.g., AWS Lambda, Fargate, Glue, Kinesis, etc.).
• Experience with Apache Kafka and Schema Registry.
• Understanding of Parquet, Avro, and Iceberg file formats.
• Experience in error tracking and monitoring for backend services using DataDog and Grafana.
• Strong background in building CI/CD processes, familiarity with Git Actions, ArgoCD, or Jenkins is a plus.
• Experience with unit testing and test automation frameworks.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
