As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will work closely with the Design System team to enable product teams across our international lotteries to create exceptional experiences for users of our websites and web-based applications.

The Role

You will contribute to and enhance our Design System component library while advising and supporting teams using the Design System. Collaborating with the Design System lead developer, you will help shape the direction of our Design System, improve our working practices, and tackle technical challenges. Staying updated with advancements in frontend technologies and integrating them into our projects will be key to your success.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance applications for lottery systems.
• Contribute to and improve the Design System component library.
• Advise and support product teams in using the Design System.
• Collaborate with the Design System lead developer on strategic direction.
• Improve user experience and solve technical challenges.
• Stay current with new developments in frontend technologies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in frontend development.
• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, Typescript, and React.
• Familiarity with testing and web accessibility.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, continuous integration, automated testing, and Git version control.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on precision in work.

Nice to Have

• Experience with design systems, NPM libraries, Tailwind, SASS, Jest, Storybook, functional programming, front-end build tooling, AWS, and cloud infrastructure.
