The Role

We are seeking a Senior Mechanic to assemble and integrate mechatronic modules into complete machines. In this hands-on technical position, you will ensure machines meet specifications, troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, and drive continuous improvement in our assembly processes.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components into complete machines using 3D CAD and digital work instructions.
• Modify and adjust machines and modules to ensure precise operation.
• Verify parts and subassemblies for completeness and adherence to work instructions.
• Engage in process improvement initiatives and propose methods to optimize assembly techniques.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace in accordance with 5S standards and QHSE requirements.
• Accurately document work and report any issues or unsafe conditions to supervisors.

Requirements

• Significant experience in mechanical and electrical assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret 3D CAD models and digital work instructions.
• Proficiency with hand tools and measuring instruments.
• Familiarity with assembly sequences, quality control, and production administration.
• Strong knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Fluent in Dutch or English, both written and spoken.
• Capability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks.

Nice to Have

• Experience with continuous improvement processes and Lean manufacturing principles.
• Exposure to complex mechatronic machinery in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to train or mentor junior team members.
• Knowledge of digital measuring tools or advanced assembly software.
• Hands-on experience assisting R&D with prototype testing or modifications.
