We are looking for Clinical Research Physicians to join our innovative team. In this role, you will lead the medical, scientific, and strategic aspects of clinical trials, ensuring their successful planning, execution, and reporting. You will also serve as the internal medical expert at Medpace, providing insights for the review and interpretation of results in Clinical Study Reports. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of new clinical projects, including study design and protocol creation. We have openings in several therapeutic areas including Psychiatry, Pediatric/Neuromuscular Neurology, GI/Hepatology, Dermatology, and Metabolic/Endocrinology. All Medical Directors enjoy the flexibility of hybrid work-from-home arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical management and expertise for clinical trials.
• Contribute medical insights to study reports, regulatory documents, and manuscripts.
• Manage safety issues in clinical trials and collaborate with associates on evaluations.
• Participate in business development through proposal and sponsor meetings as needed.
• Coordinate with various departments throughout all phases of studies, including feasibility assessments and design processes.
• Ensure strict adherence to research protocols and lead teams in compliance with policies.

Requirements

• M.D. degree or equivalent; board certification and current medical licensure preferred.
• Prior experience in clinical trial research is essential.
• Experience in pharmaceutical-related clinical research is preferred.

Travel

• Up to 20% travel required.
