The Role
We are looking for an outstanding Medical Writer to spearhead the creation and implementation of impactful scientific communication strategies. This position is perfect for an experienced leader in medical affairs or scientific communications with a proven history of publishing in prestigious journals such as BMJ.
The Role
In this strategic and hands-on consultancy role, you will excel in writing, storytelling, and leading stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of high-quality, evidence-based scientific communications in the rare disease domain.
- Develop scientific narratives for prestigious publications, congresses, and external engagements.
- Provide strategic direction for publication plans, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations.
- Write and manage the complete development of manuscripts aimed at high-impact journals (e.g., BMJ, Lancet).
- Ensure scientific accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all deliverables.
- Uphold top-tier writing standards in line with global medical affairs expectations.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, or equivalent).
- Extensive experience in medical affairs or scientific publication roles.
- Proven history of publishing in leading journals (e.g., BMJ, NEJM, Lancet or equivalent).
- Strong expertise in manuscript development and publication strategy.
- Demonstrated excellence in scientific writing and storytelling.
