The Role
We are seeking three CE Electrical Engineers to join the expanding team of our international client, a global leader in the IT/Software sector, located in Middenmeer. This role involves providing support for third-party contractors, monitoring maintenance systems, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures in a data centre environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for various tasks, including:
- Providing escort support for on-site contractors, vendors, and service providers.
- Performing routine rounds and initial assessments of equipment performance.
- Monitoring the performance of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems within the data centre.
- Assisting with emergency monitoring and responding to abnormal conditions according to established Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs).
- Recording daily operational readings of electrical equipment and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for planned work activities.
- Carrying out preventative maintenance on Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and system control panels.
- Supporting electrical infrastructure across the data centre campus.
Requirements
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Over 5 years of experience in technical fields such as automotive, electrical, controls, or data centre environments.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Experience with building management systems (EPMS).
- Previous experience in data centres and familiarity with electrical systems in high availability environments, such as manufacturing, hospitals, or oil and gas refineries.
