3rd Risk, a Diligent Company, is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead UX/UI design within our dynamic product design team. In this role, you will spearhead high-impact projects that blend innovative exploration with essential design efforts, shaping products that are trusted by leaders globally. You'll direct design strategy, influence product direction, and collaborate across teams to simplify complex challenges into elegant solutions.

The Role

You will manage the design process from start to finish, working closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define issues and develop solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the design process from discovery and ideation to final handoff and post-launch iterations.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate research insights and business needs into clear, usable, and visually appealing designs.
• Advocating for user-centered design and ethical AI integration within product teams.
• Evaluating and implementing AI-powered tools to enhance design research, prototyping, testing, and content generation.
• Facilitating workshops, design critiques, and collaborative sessions to ensure team alignment.
• Mentoring junior designers and providing constructive feedback.
• Contributing to design systems, processes, and best practices.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of professional experience in product design, particularly in SaaS and enterprise software.
• Proven ability to manage complex design projects from start to finish.
• Strong foundation in UX and visual design, supported by an impressive portfolio.
• Comprehensive understanding of product design cycles, from research to delivery and iteration.
• Proficiency in modern design tools and experience conducting user research.
• Excellent facilitation and communication skills, comfortable presenting and collaborating with peers.
• Experience with design systems to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Ability to incorporate AI into design workflows and awareness of responsible AI practices.
• Bonus: knowledge of coding, motion design, or data visualization skills.
