The Role

Join Deloitte as a Prompt Engineer, where you will be instrumental in establishing and scaling prompt engineering capabilities that safely power GenAI solutions across the enterprise. You will lead the adoption of large language model patterns and integrate them into our DevSecOps and IT Service Management processes.

The Role

You will design task-specific prompts and chains, apply prompt patterns, and integrate Large Language Model (LLM) flows with enterprise APIs. Your role will also involve ensuring compliance with GDPR principles and EU AI Act obligations where applicable. You will engage with business and technology teams to prioritize use cases and drive the adoption of GenAI solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the integration of large language models into existing processes.
  • Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) logic.
  • Ensure observability of LLM flows through logs and monitoring.
  • Align with data governance and compliance standards.
  • Evaluate new capabilities with cloud providers and model vendors.
  • Define and implement LLM operations for continuous monitoring.

Requirements

  • Over 5 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in prompt engineering.
  • Proven expertise in prompt strategies, including Chain-of-Thought and multi-model prompting.
  • Strong communication skills to influence senior leadership, especially non-technologists.
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft’s ecosystem, including Azure Cognitive Services and Power Platform.
