The Role

We are seeking a Fractional HR Manager / HR Business Partner to join our partner company in the Netherlands. In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner to leadership while providing hands-on HR support throughout the organization. Your contributions will be vital in developing and scaling people operations, ensuring that HR practices adapt to the growth of the business. You will work in a fully remote and dynamic environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance employee experience, strengthen company culture, and improve organizational effectiveness. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking and operational execution, making it a great fit for someone who excels in fast-paced and evolving environments. You will play a key role in influencing decisions related to talent, performance, and organizational structure while ensuring compliance and adherence to best practices. Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic HR guidance to leadership, aiding in organizational design, talent strategy, and workforce planning.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, processes, and documentation to support scalable operations.
  • Manage the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, engagement, and offboarding.
  • Advise on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and compliant handling of workplace issues.
  • Design and enhance performance management frameworks, feedback systems, and development processes.
  • Support compensation strategies, retention initiatives, and overall improvements to employee experience.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and systems, ensuring data integrity and process consistency.
  • Collaborate with recruitment teams to assist in hiring efforts and workforce expansion.
  • Foster a strong, inclusive company culture aligned with organizational values and goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, or HR Business Partner roles.
  • Proven experience supporting remote or distributed teams in a global environment.
  • Strong knowledge of core HR functions, including employee lifecycle management and HR compliance.
  • Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced, scaling organization.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence leadership.
  • Experience in building HR processes, frameworks, and documentation from the ground up.
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms and people operations tools.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of autonomy, adaptability, and proactive mindset.
