The Role
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering consistent quality in a busy hotel kitchen. Your responsibilities will include managing orders, ensuring product approval, and maintaining high standards in daily preparations while staying updated on new products, recipes, and cooking techniques.

- Assist kitchen staff in daily food preparation
- Enforce strict hygiene and safety standards
- Monitor the quality and progress of kitchen processes
- Ensure sufficient stock at your workstation
- Contribute to a positive and flexible working atmosphere

Requirements
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen processes, and food safety
- Ability to independently manage your section from preparation to plating
- Thrive in a dynamic kitchen environment while maintaining quality
- Natural leadership skills to manage and coach junior colleagues
- Strong planning and organizational skills, with a well-ordered mise en place
- Passion for fresh products, flavor combinations, and contemporary presentation
- Flexible thinking regarding menus, events, and seasonal influences
- Team player who remains calm under pressure and has a genuine love for the profession
