The Role

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to provide L2/L3 support for enterprise customers. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting routing, switching, security, and DNS/DHCP/IPAM needs. You will work remotely to install, decommission, modify, and troubleshoot network elements in compliance with established standards, addressing incidents, service requests, change requests, and complex project requirements.

The Role

You will coordinate with field support engineers and other stakeholders to plan and execute complex, multi-phased changes to customer networks. Your responsibilities will include managing complex network incidents involving various infrastructure components and technologies while adhering to strict SLAs and timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, troubleshoot, and support routing, switching, security, and DNS/DHCP/IPAM needs.
  • Install, decommission, modify, and troubleshoot network elements remotely.
  • Coordinate with field support engineers and stakeholders for complex changes.
  • Manage complex network incidents under stringent SLAs.
  • Maintain inventory and documentation, including updates and maintenance.
  • Interface with customer architects, implementation managers, vendors, and engineering teams to gather requirements.
  • Provide customer communications and technical troubleshooting documentation as needed.

Requirements

  • CCNA (L2) and CCNP (L3) or equivalent knowledge in networking fundamentals.
  • Strong experience with Huawei, Zscaler, Palo Alto, and cloud connectivity.
  • Proficient in LAN, WLAN, VPN, MPLS, IPSEC, GRE, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
  • Experience in handling firewall and security incidents.
  • Background in customer operations incident management.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with clients during high-pressure troubleshooting situations.
