The Role

Projekts is a specialized recruitment and consulting firm that proudly partners with over 600 clients, including Fortune 500 companies, across more than 20 countries worldwide. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Regional Operations Director for our client, a leading global manufacturer. This position offers flexibility in location within Europe and includes a hybrid work option.

The Role

In this role, you will oversee all manufacturing and dealership operations to ensure that products and services meet quality, cost, and scheduling objectives. You will develop and implement regional strategies that align with corporate goals to drive growth, optimize processes, and enhance performance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee manufacturing and dealership operations to meet quality, cost, and scheduling goals.
  • Develop and execute regional strategies in alignment with corporate objectives to foster growth and improve performance.
  • Manage and monitor department or site managers to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
  • Control budgets, analyze financial performance, and achieve profitability targets.
  • Lead the hiring, training, and development of staff, promoting a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate communication between regional sites and senior leadership regarding key policies and decisions.
  • Implement programs focused on process improvement, cost reduction, and digital transformation across the region.
  • Direct major projects, including layout changes, capital equipment installations, and operational enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in operations or general management, preferably in the automotive sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on strategic execution and P&L management.
  • Operational expertise in multi-site environments with a hands-on approach.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Commitment to safety, compliance, and sustainability.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the region.
