We are seeking a Senior Communications and PR Manager to join our partner company in the Netherlands. This strategic role focuses on shaping and amplifying a global communications narrative within a rapidly evolving technology landscape. You will lead the creation of impactful PR strategies, enhance executive thought leadership, and strengthen media presence across key markets. In a remote-first and dynamic environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex ideas into compelling narratives, influencing brand perception and managing global media relationships.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive PR and communications strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage and coordinate external PR agencies and global partners to ensure consistent messaging and performance against KPIs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers in technology and emerging sectors.
• Develop high-quality content such as press releases, articles, social media messaging, and executive briefing materials.
• Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, preparing them for media engagements, speaking opportunities, and public appearances.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to ensure accurate and consistent messaging.
• Lead crisis communication efforts and proactively manage reputational risks.
• Track, analyze, and report on PR performance metrics, including media coverage and brand sentiment.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in PR and communications, particularly in fast-paced, innovation-driven industries.
• Proven ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, engaging narratives for diverse audiences.
• Established network of media contacts in technology, business, or emerging industry sectors.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong portfolio of published work.
• Demonstrated experience in managing high-stakes communications and protecting brand reputation.
• Track record of developing PR strategies that drive measurable business growth.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in remote, cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
