The Role

In the role of IT Business Analyst, you will bridge the gap between business and technology, assisting organizations in their evolution with clarity and confidence. Your responsibilities will include:

The Role

  • Analyzing business processes, systems, and user requirements.
  • Defining scope, goals, and requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Translating insights into user stories and high-level software designs.
  • Advising on sustainable processes, including automation strategies.
  • Developing workflows and diagrams to visualize solutions.
  • Managing the requirements backlog and maintaining regular alignment with stakeholders.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and leading optimization efforts.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor and fostering strong client relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, Information Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in a Business Analyst role or similar position.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies (user stories, backlogs, refinements).
  • Proficiency with tools such as BPM, UML, and concepts like TOGAF.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English (spoken and written).
  • Certification in IREB, BABOK, ITIL, or similar is a plus.
  • Industry experience in government, finance, or manufacturing is advantageous.

Specific Pega BA Requirements

  • Pega BA certification.
  • At least three years of experience defining user stories in Pega environments.
  • Preferably hold a Pega CSA or CSSA certification.
  • Pega Blueprint badge.
  • Pega Constellation Adoption badge.
