The Role

We are seeking a Performance Tester to join our team remotely for one of our clients. This role involves executing automated load tests and collaborating closely with developers to identify and resolve performance issues.

The Role

You will be responsible for running automated load tests using Gatling and Scala, conducting regression testing, and analyzing performance metrics to highlight risks. Additionally, you will utilize Jenkins and Docker to execute tests and monitor the health of the environment on AWS.

Responsibilities

  • Execute automated load tests with Gatling and Scala.
  • Perform regression testing.
  • Collaborate with developers to identify bottlenecks and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Analyze performance metrics such as latency, throughput, and error rates, and communicate risks to stakeholders.
  • Use Jenkins and Docker to trigger tests and monitor AWS environment health.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with Gatling and Scala, including the ability to write and debug scripts.
  • Proficiency in AWS, Docker, and Jenkins pipelines.
