We are currently seeking an experienced Global Logistics Manager to lead and enhance logistics operations across various regions in a full-time remote capacity for a confidential client in the EMEA region. The successful candidate will manage international logistics, ensuring efficient goods movement, cost optimization, and adherence to global trade regulations.

The Role

The Global Logistics Manager will oversee logistics operations, requiring strong leadership and expertise in cross-border logistics, as well as the ability to manage vendors and teams in a remote setting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with global freight, customs, and multi-country logistics networks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage global logistics operations across multiple countries and regions.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies that align with business growth and operational objectives.
• Oversee international transportation (air, sea, road) and freight forwarding activities.
• Ensure customs clearance, import/export compliance, and manage trade documentation.
• Optimize logistics costs, delivery timelines, and service levels.
• Manage relationships with logistics providers, carriers, and 3PL partners.
• Monitor logistics KPIs, performance metrics, and service level agreements.
• Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, warehouse, and sales teams.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies for cross-border logistics operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles, with global exposure.
• Proven experience managing international and multi-country logistics operations.
• Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, customs regulations, and trade compliance.
• Experience with logistics systems, ERP, and transportation management tools.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-time-zone environment.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a strong advantage.
