The Role

We are seeking a Digital Product Designer to join our partner company in the Netherlands. This role provides a unique opportunity to create engaging and intuitive digital experiences that significantly influence both users and business outcomes. You will convert customer needs into seamless user journeys, transforming insights into visually appealing and highly functional interfaces. Collaborating closely with product managers, creative leads, and development teams, you will shape product direction from ideation to execution. This position blends creative design, strategic thinking, and user-centered problem-solving in a dynamic, remote-friendly environment, allowing you the freedom to develop innovative solutions while fostering cross-functional collaboration and advancing digital products.

Responsibilities

  • Transform customer needs and insights into user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interfaces.
  • Collaborate with product and creative teams to research, ideate, and design new digital experiences.
  • Develop visual assets, design guidelines, and documentation for implementation.
  • Present and communicate design concepts, rationale, and deliverables to peers, stakeholders, and executives.
  • Ensure consistency across products by adhering to design systems, component libraries, and branding standards.
  • Continuously analyze and refine user experiences based on research, feedback, and emerging design trends.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a digital or product designer, with a portfolio showcasing user-centered design work.
  • Strong proficiency in Figma (or equivalent design tools) and access to a Mac for design tasks.
  • Solid understanding of color theory, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
  • Experience creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and mockups for web or mobile applications.
  • Ability to analyze user journeys and work with design systems and symbol libraries.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first, deadline-driven environment.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, adaptable, and enthusiastic with a growth mindset.
