As a Senior Director within Gartner’s Business and Technology Insights (BTI) group, you will establish yourself as a credible voice in your market, leveraging your research and analytical skills to provide valuable insights that help clients achieve their business objectives.

The Role

You will be responsible for creating innovative and impactful insights, developing actionable strategies for clients, and conducting in-depth analyses to address their needs. Your role involves demonstrating thought leadership, researching market trends, and providing clients with actionable advice through various interactions. Additionally, you will support sales initiatives, mentor junior team members, and actively participate in collaborative discussions to improve research processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative and thought-provoking insights content.
• Generate new ideas through thought leadership to meet client needs.
• Conduct in-depth analysis to identify and address client barriers.
• Establish Insight positions across a team of analysts.
• Research and predict market trends to provide actionable insights.
• Deliver high-value presentations at industry events and client briefings.
• Support sales by representing market needs and assisting content creation.
• Review content for quality and timeliness.
• Mentor junior team members and foster client engagement with Gartner insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in Cyber GRC, Information Security, or Enterprise Risk Management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring cyber risks.
• Experience with quantitative and qualitative risk analysis methodologies (e.g., FAIR, NIST RMF).
• Proven track record in developing Cyber GRC strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Familiarity with Cyber GRC platforms such as ServiceNow, Drata, Archer, or MetricStream.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent research, writing, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in synthesizing data and defending conclusions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.
