The Role
This organization is a leading independent specialist in industrial automation, focusing on designing, engineering, and implementing electrical and automation solutions for both greenfield and brownfield projects. With a team of experienced engineers, they combine technical expertise with a practical, solution-oriented approach to deliver customized projects from concept through to commissioning.
The Role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will oversee the electrical engineering components of industrial automation projects. Collaborating closely with automation engineers, project managers, and external partners, you will develop safe, reliable, and efficient electrical systems that fulfill client and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Designing electrical installations and control panels for industrial automation systems
- Developing electrical schematics, layouts, and technical documentation
- Selecting electrical components according to project specifications and applicable standards
- Supporting panel building, installation, and commissioning activities
- Troubleshooting electrical issues during engineering and start-up phases
- Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations (e.g., IEC, NEN, CE)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Experience in industrial automation, machine building, or the process industry
- Strong knowledge of electrical design, power distribution, and control systems
- Proficiency with EPLAN or similar electrical engineering software
- Analytical, structured, and quality-focused work approach
- Good communication skills with the ability to work independently and in teams
- Professional working proficiency in English (Dutch is a plus)
