I'm a Computer Science graduate from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, where I completed my thesis internship at Rijkswaterstaat. My thesis focused on developing an AI-based predictive maintenance system for nautical radars using real-world sensor data. Alongside my studies, I freelanced as an AI Software Developer. I’ve built and deployed several AI-driven solutions, including RapidSubs—a mobile app for generating stylish, AI-powered subtitles—available on the App Store and Play Store. At Market Control, I first completed an internship where I created a vehicle route optimization algorithm—reducing computation times from 20 minutes to under 30 seconds and eliminating reliance on an expensive third-party API. I then continued working there part-time for a year, focusing on backend algorithms and developing AI solutions, including a grocery shelf detection model to automate product availability tracking. My technical toolkit includes Python, JavaScript, C++, PyTorch, React Native, Docker, Git, and managing backend infrastructure for AI applications. I love building scalable AI systems, solving real-world problems, and pushing the boundaries of what software can do.
